These Schottky diodes can protect your Electronic Speed Controller against voltage spikes which could damage the Speed Controller components thus protecting braking and acceleration response.
They should only be used with a 'forward only' type speed controller and should NOT be used with a 'reverse' speed controller.
It is important that the polarity is checked when installing:
Solder the red wire to the + POSITIVE (PLUS) and the black wire to the - NEGATIVE (MINUS).
Incorrect installation will damage the Schottky Diodes.
Place the Schottky Diode on a clean surface using double sided tape.
