Ryan Cavalieri & Muchmore Win Modified Truck & 2wd Modified Short Course at 2018 Surf City Classic in California!
The 2018 Surf City Classic was held this past weekend at OC R/C Raceway in Huntington Beach, California. Each year, the Surf City Classic is a race all drivers circle on their calendar because of the great competition, perfect weather, and perfectly ran race program. Muchmore would once again arrive with a very talented Race Team consisting of: 3x 2018 ROAR Modified National Champion Ryan Cavalieri, Tanner Denney, JP Richards, & Chris Jarosz.
Race Schedule:
Friday, August 31st: Open Practice
Saturday, September 1st: 3 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, September 2nd: 1 Round of Qualifying / Single 10-Minute A-Main Events
Modified Truck
In the Modified Truck class, Muchmore's Ryan Cavalieri showed great pace in qualifying and would start from the 2nd grid position in the A-Main.
Cavalieri then had a great battle for the entire single 10-minute A-Main event with his AE teammates Dustin Evans and Broc Champlin with the overall Win coming down to the last lap. Cavalieri drove perfect, making no mistakes to take the Win and his first Title of the weekend!

In the 2wd Modified Short Course class, Cavalieri was super dialed in qualifying by TQ'ing 3 of the 4 rounds to take the overall TQ!
Cavalieri then went onto dominate the single 10-minute A-Main event by leading every lap and easily taking the Win for his second Title of the weekend!
